MEPs Prepare to Grill Transport Commissioner-Designate Tzitzikóstas

Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) are gearing up to intensely scrutinise Apóstolos Tzitzikóstas, the Commissioner-designate for Transport. The Transport Committee (TRAN) will lead the charge, with additional insights sought from hearings involving other key Commissioners.

Tzitzikóstas will face the Transport Committee directly, while the committee will also have the opportunity to submit written questions to Raffaele Fitto, the Executive Vice-President for Cohesion and Reform, and Andrius Kubilius, the Commissioner for Space and Defence. This structure allows for a focused interrogation of Tzitzikóstas’s plans while ensuring broader policy coherence.
